Faye sighed in frustration knowing it was indeed a very good question,"Maybe I do want that money, but not for what he wants to do with it...."

James didn't look at her while he continued bench pressing. "It's not my business, I'm not your babysitter."

"Well, thank God for that," Faye grumbled then she smirked and looked at him,"Well, it's your resposible as a teacher though to report it seeing as how it's probably going to attract all sorts of bad."

James finished his third set and sat up, swinging one leg over the bench so he could turn to face her. "I have a feeling that you and your brother will attract all sorts of trouble whether I report it or not." He looked her in the eye, revealing that he knew who they were, though he didn't actually know what they were.

Faye grinned at him,"Yep, twins with a black cloud born over them...But what if it attracts the wrong bad attention..."

James shrugged, looking at her. "I'm sure it will, I just hope you're prepared to deal with it."

"Oh, I'm fully prepared to deal with it," Faye said a matter of a fact. "But won't you get in trouble for knowing about it if something should go wrong and people get hurt?..."

"It's a street fight, does anything ever go right? And, people are going to get hurt no matter what. " James stood up, looking down at her. "I teach martial arts, what's a little more practice? We're not your babysitters here." He smirked slightly at Faye. "And, you never know, I might see you there."

Faye looked up at him,"Hmm, then this should be interesting..." She stood herself and smiled as a goodbye. Faye headed over back to the punching bag. She gave it a fierce kick...,but onlyup close coul one see the tear she created...

James watched her for a minute, then slowly turned his back to her and lay back down on the bench to continue bench pressing.

_A Quarter To Midnight_
Faye sat by the boys' dorm covering her face with her hoodie. She sat against the wall waiting for David to appear. Finally she sensed him nearer. She got up and looked around the corner. David was just walking out the door. She quickly joined his side and the two headed for the weigh room.
As they approached the air was dead silent. But for them it was noisy as can be. They could hear the footsteps of possible challengers and spectators. They could hear those already inside trying to keep quiet until the time came...

No longer having a bike after the vampire ambush, James decided to spend tonight at the Academy, without a break for hunting. He remained in his classroom until late, getting a head start on some lessons, until it was almost time. He got up, locked his classroom, and headed towards the weight room.

Swarmps of students and outsiders gathered in the weigh room. Some competitors practiced, relaxed, or whatever they thought would help them prepare for the fights ahead. Faye was the only girl in the room. She shot a look at David the moment she heard some guys joking about what if girls were allowed and how "fun" it would have been. David merely shrugged and smiled innocently at her,"What like that would have stopped you in any other fight?"
"No, it wouldn't have but I wished you told me." Faye adjusted her hood making sure not a curl or wave fell from it. She was also glad she wore a big hoodie where no one coudl see her chest. But were those boys in for a surprise...

James glanced at the time again and decided to stop at the cafeteria for a snack. He did not want to arrive on time and scared off all the fighters. He planned to slip in once the fighting began.

Somewhere a clock struck twelve and standing in the boxing ring was a some over muscled announcer. "Gentlemen, this is the night we've been waiting for... This is the time where we test our strength for the prize of a hundred thousand dollars and the title of Ultimate Street Fighter. We will have two dozen hopefuls who will compete against one another until there is only one to face the Street King... Now let the games begin!" A roar erupted from the crowd as the first two contestants got into the ring.
"David, you also never said anything about elimination," Faye said rolling up her sleeves. The damn hoodie was starting to get hot...
"Like it would have bothered you," David replied laughing.
