David snored away on his desk in the his first morning class. He nuzzled his face in between his arms as he took his "nap" upon his books that began to slide slowly.
Faye laid her chin on her desk watching distractedly her pencil spin around and around with every flick from her index finger.
The two were merely coping with the other night's disaster. The fight did not go the way either of them had hoped. David did not dance in the money like he dreamed and Faye did prove her worth as a fighter.
She sighed with boredom before sailing her pencil across the class to give herself something to do. She stood and went to go pick it up. As she came back, she swatted the books under David from out beneath him.
David slammed his head on the desk cursing rather loudly in his grumbling sleepiness. But to Faye's dismay, David stayed fast asleep. She looked around in disbelief and slouched in her chair letting her head fall back. She began to find pictures in the ceiling.

Matthew moved with a hastened step. His leather satchel clung on for dear life to the handle that has been reattached more times than it could count. In his other hand a medium sized dog crate shook and rattled.
He wondered grinning slightly what the look on their faces would be the moment he walked in. He grinned wider besides himself how they would look after class when he would have a little chat with them.
He eyed the signs situated above each door until he saw the number 23 indicating the room below it. Room 23 was where his classes were to be held. He stood in front of the door and peered in seeing the first two students. Before entering he dropped down beside the door frame the crate which began to stir and grumble. Matthew walked in silently pass the two and sat down at his desk watching the two as he put his satchel down on the floor.
"Hello, kids..."

Faye brought her head forward slowly. She looked incredulously at him her mouth gaping a tad. She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion at the sight of him. "Uncle Matt?..."
If one thing could have awaken up David, it would have been the voice of their uncle. It was such a common sound in their lives that to not recognize it would be shameful. He raised his head and looked at his uncle with an angered well as dumbfounded look. He straightened his posture to take in his uncle. "First sign of trouble... And you just appear from nowhere without so much as a word of warning..."

(Yes You May ;D)
Matthew looked them both over completely ignoring what David had said. He nodded approvingly seeing both were fine to his standards. Smiling at Faye,"Hey there, kiddo..." He looked over at David then his face serious,"I'll save your question until after class, David... and until then you are to address me like you would any teacher... Is that clear?..." Matthew asked the question rhetorically. He stared David down until he stood and began to write his name on the board...

Room 23. Right here and she wasn't late. Then why was the door closed and there were voices coming from the inside. She knocked while she stared at her watch, according to which she wasn't late.
"Stupid thing had to be dying on me" she muttered as she tapped the watch, waiting for the teacher to open the door and start complaining about sticking to the schedule...

Matthew turned his head at the rap on the door and quickly went to open now seeing as how family matters were somewhat taken care of. He moved the door with a wide smile,"I'm sorry... I was just having a private discussion... Please, come on right in. I'm Mr. Weiss and you are?..." He extended his hand out as he opened the door completely.

Mack stared at the teacher "I'm not late?" she asked before shaking his hand "I'm Mack" she shook her head "Mackenzie Jones" she corrected herself. She looked past him and saw David and Faye. She narrowed her eyes at it.

"I think it would best to leave this open now," Matthew said kicking down the door stopper. He smiled brightly as he returned to his desk and sitting down he crossed his arms casually. "Mack, do you know these two?" Matthew merely nodded his head towards the twins as he watched the three of them.

Faye smiled brightly at Mach as she entered and waved with enthusiasm that clearly masked her other emotions at this particular time. David merely grunted a welcome as he stared at his uncle in an attempt to burn a hole through his head.

Mack raised an eyebrow at them "I can be said that I know them" she told them as she took a seat next to Faye. "Hey guys" she greeted them"I'm taking things didn't go as planned yesterday" she added in a whisper

Faye merely showed a negative her blue eyes as David dropped back his hand to give a thumbs down. He did not falter with his glare. "She better know who we are..." Faye joked hoping to break the tension between the two men, but it seemed useless.
Soon other students began top pile into the class and the seats began to fill. David still did not for one second break his eyes off his uncle as he greeted and welcomed the students.

"So, wasn't David supposed to be happy to have your uncle here? It was what he wanted after all" Mack asked as a rather loud group of students walked in.
One of the boys stared at the crate next to the door "What's in there?" he asked "It's a dog crate you morron, what do you expect to be there?" one of his friends answered

Faye went to speak with a look of total of disbelief that David actually "wanted" their uncle to be here when she glared in annoyance at the rowdy boys that entered. She mumbled,"Wouldn't you like to know?..."
She looked back to Mack,"Yeah, right... Please the only reason he would want him here was to piss him off further..."
David shifted in his chair upon overhearing them, but he made no response...

Matthew noted the disruptive students and their question as he went to close the door and pick up the "dog crate". He smiled as he turned to face his students,"I suppose you are all wondering what I have brought today...Well as you may know I'm your guy fro when it comes to vampires... and vampirelike creatures..." He paused for a moment to look down at the crate which began to stir rather violently.
